Season 3 is the third and final season of Andi Mack. It was announced on February 19, 2018 during a cast interview with Good Morning America. The season premiered on October 8, 2018, and the series finale aired on July 26, 2019. The season consists of 20 episodes (previously 21).[1]

Production

The season started filming in Magna, Utah on June 5, 2018 and wrapped up on December 21, 2018. The season premiered on October 8, 2018.[2]

On April 24, 2019, Disney announced that Season 3 would be the final season of Andi Mack. The series finale aired on July 26, 2019.

Synopsis

Andi is increasingly confident about expressing herself as she navigates her relationship with Jonah Beck and new territory in her long-standing friendships with Buffy and Cyrus. She continues to work on building a family unit with her parents, Bex and Bowie, who are new to parenting but are doing their best through humor, love and open communication. Andi’s grandmother, Celia, is still very much in the picture to provide her with additional support.

Trivia

  • Starting with this season, Trent Garrett, who plays Bowie, has been promoted to a series regular.
  • The updated intro was released on September 24, 2018, making Andi Mack the seventh series to have a new or updated sequence for the third season after Hannah Montana, A.N.T. Farm, Girl Meets World, K.C. Undercover, Bunk'd and Bizaardvark.
  • Starting with Secret Society, all episodes featuring Stoney Westmoreland as Ham Mack were edited to remove his character due to his arrest and criminal charges.
    • In addition, Episode 318 was completely shelved because Ham played an important role in it.
  • Marty returns this season after missing a total of 27 episodes.
  • The season premiered on October 8, 2018.
  • Jonah and TJ finally become friends.
  • Miranda and Morgan Patrick returned this season.
  • Jonah and Amber dated each other once again this season, as they previously dated in Season 1.

  • Andi Mack is also the 77th Disney Channel Original Series, which followed Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (76) and will be the 74th Disney Channel Original Series to end it's course after Star vs. the Forces of Evil (73rd).
  • Kira is the antagonist for the third season as she was somewhat unfriendly towards Cyrus because of his relationship with TJ.
