I think Tyrus Jandi and Muffy
No wonder you deleted stuff from the Cyrus and TJ page. You have a bias.
@DisneyFan NO!! need to be rude and we don't use that language here. As much as it would be cute to see them together it's just not going to happen Jonah is straight in this show. There is hope for Tyrus tho.
Exactly. Just let us Tyrus shippers ship Tyrus in peace
Jonah is bisexual, not straight. And there is no hope for Tyrus beacuse Disney would probably kill it like they did with Jyrus and Cyrus will be left alone by the end of the show :(
When did they say he was bi? What?
Jonah's sexuality has never been confirmed. Also, Josh confirmed in an interview that Cyrus has an endgame ship. He won't be single.
^Since you put it like that then I guess no Disney Channel character is straight or gay? I mean come on he is obviously straight. Do you not pay attention to the show? Also, so that means Zack and Cody are both gay or whatever since there "sexuality hasn't been confirmed"? You're probably just saying that because your a Jyrus shipper. Also what does the second part have to do with anything?
Hey, I'm Aexlus (I was accidentally logged into the wrong account when I made my last comment). No, I'm not a Jyrus shipper. I was responding to the person before you who said Jonah is bi. His sexuality was never confirmed so DisneyFan1998 shouldn't be saying "Jonah is bisexual, not straight" so matter-of-factly. The second part was also to respond to the person before you. They said "there is no hope for Tyrus [because] Disney would probably kill it like they did with Jyrus and Cyrus will be left alone by the end of the show," so I told them that Cyrus has an endgame ship, as confirmed by Josh.
EDIT: I want to add that you shouldn't assume a character/person is straight if it hasn't been confirmed. That's just playing into heteronormativity. And saying "he is obviously straight" is stereotyping.
I am deeply sorry I thought that you were disagreeing with me. As for your edit goes my question/point from my last message still stands. "Also, so that means Zack and Cody are both gay or whatever since there "sexuality hasn't been confirmed"?" . No Disney Channel characters' sexuality has been confirmed before so that means Luke from Jessie is possibly gay or Troy Bolton from HSM? or Lily from Hannah Montana etc. Do you see what I mean. I agree with you a little with the sterotypying part but still. They have just now started with LGBT charaters on DC. Now if this would had been any other TV show on another network that's different. I would wait until the proof is shown to say if someone's gay or whatever. For an example, The CW, Fox, Freeform and their shows you have to wait. But this is DC a kids network... they've always used Boy w Girl Girl w Boy. As far as Jonah goes he has never shown attraction to another dude. So we can only think that he's straight. And it's still kinda obvious when it comes to kid networks like DC given their past but who knows. Escuse my bad grammar/ spelling I know had some don't feel like looking over and editing.
I'm not saying a character is gay if it isn't confirmed. I'm saying straight shouldn't be the default sexuality we assign characters who haven't stated their preference. Characters could be asexual or bisexual and still only date characters of the opposite sex. I don't think we should assign a sexuality to characters at all (unless they have canonically mentioned their sexuality like Cyrus).
I agree that it's highly unlikely for past Disney Channel characters to be LGBT, but when we just assume they're all straight, we are playing into heteronormativity. Straight isn't the default because all sexualities are equally as normal.
